Two Attorneys Publish Books of Poetry
Raymond Foss |
Seth Abramson | Seth Abramson of Acton, Mass. and Raymond Foss of Suncook, NH have both published their first books of poetry.
"My first poetry collection," says Abramson, "is The Suburban Ecstasies (Ghost Road Press, hardcover, 124 pp.) and may be purchased online via Barnes & Noble or ordered through Amazon.
"Working in the vivid and revivifying borderlands of such American adventures as Paul Metcalf’s Genoa and Ed Dorn’s Gunslinger, The Suburban Ecstasies propounds a syllabic heroism, one in which even the gentlest, most lyric proposals set forth towards ecstasy. These pages glow with immediate mastery," says Donald Revell, author of A Thief of Strings.
Poetry Where You Live by Raymond A. Foss, is comprised of 100 out of the 300 poems he wrote and posted to his blog, Poetry Where You Live (www.raymondafoss.blogspot.com), between January 18, 2009 and March 12, 2009. "This site now has over 4,250 poems," says Foss, "with over 3,325 of these faith-based."
Book orders can be placed through Xlibris’ Book Order Department. Visit www2.xlibris.com, Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble to purchase the book.
"Poetry Where You Live is a state of mind; like God’s grace, poetry is where you live, not something you have to seek out in some distant place," says Foss.
