Guardian ad Litem Fall 2009 Certification Training Schedule
In order to be certified as a Guardian ad litem in the State of New Hampshire, application for certification requires completion of the GAL Board sponsored training (the General/Overview Training noted below and at least one Matter Specific Training).
Following completion of the training, a Guardian ad litem may apply for Board certification. However, there are other requirements that must be met in order for a GAL to be "board certified." Participants should understand what criteria must be met prior to completing the Gal Board sponsored training. Find more information at http://www.nh.gov/gal/index.htm.
Below is the Fall 2009 GAL Certification Training Schedule:
General/Overview Training Friday, September 11 , 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, September 12th 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Cost is $185.00 which includes the GAL Training Manual for all courts/matters.
Divorce/Parenting Rights and Responsibilities - Superior Court/Family Division Saturday, October 3, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Cost is $100.00.
Minor Guardianships and Termination of Parental Rights - Probate Court/Family Division Saturday, October 17, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Cost is $100.00.
Abuse and Neglect/Juvenile Matters - District Court/Family Division Friday October 23 , 2009 , from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, October24th 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.; Cost is $150.00.
