Law Related Education: Volunteers Sought for We the People Competitions
 Milford High School students at a WTP Competition in Concord. | The NH Bar Association Law Related Education Program is currently seeking volunteers for the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution district and state competitions scheduled for late 2009 and early 2010.
A program of the Center for Civic Education and of the NH Bar Association, We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution is a civic education program dedicated to promoting civic competence and responsibility among elementary and secondary students through an in-class curriculum, which culminates every year with a statewide competition in the form of a simulated congressional hearing. The top performing high school team will represent New Hampshire at the National Competition in Washington, D.C.
This year’s competition dates are as follows:
District Competition: Friday, December 12, 2009 (snow/ice date: Monday, December 14)
State Competition: Friday, January 8, 2010 (snow/ice date: Monday, January 11)
