Grafton Courtroom Named for Justice William Johnson
Courtroom 1 of the Grafton County Superior Courthouse was dedicated in the name of the late Justice William Johnson, who presided there many years before his appointment to the NH Supreme Court. Pictured (left to right) are: William Batchelder, Associate Justice (retired); David A. Brock, Chief Justice (retired); Gary Hicks, Associate Justice; Linda S. Dalianis, Senior Associate Justice; John T. Broderick, Jr., Chief Justice; Carol Ann Conboy, Associate Justice; James E. Duggan, Associate Justice; and David H. Souter, Associate Justice of the US Supreme Court (retired). Souter served on the NH Supreme Court with Justice Johnson.
