Legal Hiring May Increase in Second Quarter
A net nine percent of executives in the finance, insurance and real estate (FIRE) sector plan to hire in the coming quarter.
The legal field is expected to see the strongest hiring activity. Business development and IT also were bright spots.
A net four percent of U.S. executives interviewed for the Robert Half Professional Employment Report say they plan to increase the number of full-time professionals on staff in the next three months. Other findings of the national survey include:
Eighty-two percent of respondents said they are confident in their companies’ growth prospects in the second quarter.
The Robert Half Employment Report is the first quarterly executive survey of its size and scope to focus exclusively on professional-level positions.
