NHWBA Feeds Hungry Children
For the second consecutive year, the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (NHWBA) is participating in a national women’s bar project led by the National Conference of Women’s Bar Associations (NCWBA) and aimed at feeding hungry children.
All food and monetary donations collected in New Hampshire during the project will benefit the NH Food Bank to help with the increased need for food during the summer months. Specifically, the NH Food Bank and local food pantries have greater needs during the summer; families need more food then because they cannot rely upon schools for hot lunches for their children.
From April 19 to May 14, the NHWBA will be collecting canned fruit, pasta items (boxed, canned or bagged) and monetary donations for the New Hampshire Food Bank. When making a monetary donation, please make checks payable to "NH Food Bank." Please send checks directly to the NHWBA at PO Box 915, Manchester, NH 03105.
Food donations made within individual firms and offices will be collected by NHWBA county representatives from May 14 through May 19. To notify the NHWBA that your office has collected food for the project and arrange for pick up, contact Katherine Brown or Cathy Shanelaris.
