2010 Pierce Law Class Honors DOVE
Members of the Class of 2010 at Franklin Pierce Law Center have selected the Pro Bono Referral Program’s DOVE Project as the recipient of its class gift this year.
The financial contribution will be made at the Pierce Law Commencement on May 15. Students engage in a variety of fundraising activities to generate funds for the gift, including a raffle at the Barrister’s Ball, a dance to be held in April.
The DOVE Project coordinates the provision of volunteer legal services to survivors of domestic violence, including representation at final restraining order hearings under RSA 173-B. The program has received national acclaim for its delivery model, which incorporates strong partnerships with local domestic violence agencies, training of attorneys and domestic violence advocates, and other support.
