US District Court (NH) 6th Federal Practice Institute
On November 12, 2010, the Federal District Court for the District of New Hampshire will be hosting the 6th Federal Practice Institute, which is the premier educational program for attorneys who litigate in federal court in New Hampshire.
The Institute will provide practitioners with timely and important updates on federal law and procedure as well as practical issues and emerging trends in federal practice. In addition to the traditional break out sections on developments in specific practice areas, this year’s Institute will focus on the effective use of courtroom technology, persuasive trial advocacy from the perspective of former jurors, and the most recent developments in electronic discovery. The Institute will also again feature the popular open forum with the federal judges as well as a breakfast for new lawyers to informally meet and converse with members of the bench. In a break from past years, there will be no fee to attend the Institute but enrollment will be limited (with preference given to NHBA’s Federal Practice Section members).
The court will send out a notice inviting you to register for this event in the late summer. We are sending this notice now, however, in the hope that you will reserve this November 12th date in your schedule.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Kristie Trimarco at 225-1496.
