The federal court in New Hampshire has a new judge: Hon. Landya McCafferty. Sworn in Friday, June 25, by longtime mentor, Hon. Norman Stahl, McCafferty took her seat as the new Magistrate Judge, replacing Hon. James Muirhead, who is retiring. At the ceremony, McCafferty was praised as a superb legal mind with a broad range of knowledge of constitutional law, and as someone who wasn’t afraid to make tough decisions. |
