Bar News - September 17, 2010 Support Civic Ed: Volunteer for We the People
We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution is set to begin for this school year. The District and State Competitions are just around the corner. Support civic education by volunteering today. The program needs facilitators, timers, and judges to help on the following dates: District Competition Dec. 10 (Snow Date Dec. 13) 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Legislative Office Building, Concord State Competition Jan. 7, 2011 (Snow Date Jan. 10) 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Legislative Office Building, Concord If you are interested in volunteering your time to be a part of this phenomenal program, or if you'd like further information about We the People, contact LRE Coordinator Robin E.
