Bar News - September 17, 2010 NHWBA Fall Reception Oct. 28 The New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association (NHWBA) will be hosting its annual Fall Reception on Thursday, October 28, at The Centennial in Concord, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Fall Reception is open to all members of the New Hampshire bar and no RSVP is needed. The NHWBA will present the 2010 Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award at the Annual Fall Reception. The award honors outstanding women lawyers in New Hampshire who have achieved professional excellence, paved the way to success for other women lawyers or advanced opportunities for women in the profession and/or performed exemplary public service on behalf of women. This is the eleventh year that the award will be presented. Past Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award recipients include Hon. Susan B. Carbon, Martha Van Oot, Cathy J. Green, Mary Susan Leahy, Linda S. Johnson, Deborah J. Cooper, Hon. Jean K. Burling, Emily Gray Rice, Ann McLane Kuster, Mary Pilkington-Casey, Barbara Keshen, Sherilyn Burnett Young, Justice Carol Ann Conboy and Ellen Musinsky.
