Bar News - September 17, 2010 Battle of the Lawyer Bands – Oct. 17
You don’t want to miss the first ever Battle of the Lawyer Bands this year at Murphy’s Taproom in Manchester. The event will be held on Sunday, October 17, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Sponsored by the New Lawyers Committee, this event is open to all Bar members, their friends and their families. Come out for an afternoon of great music and a casual atmosphere. Food and drinks will be available – visit www.murphystaproom.net to see the menu. Five bands – each of which has at least one lawyer member – will compete. There will be many prizes, including t-shirts, and even an electric guitar!  Rico Barr & the Jump n Jive Review Ralph Barbagallo, of the Barbagallo Law Office is just one of the eight great members of Rico Bar & the Jump n’ Jive Review, whose music spans from swing music to rock n’ roll. Emery’s Misery Don’t be fooled by the name, Emery’s Misery will make the night come alive thanks in part to Bar member Dave Craig. White Mountain Swing Attorneys Gabriel Nizetic and Branch Sanders are part of White Mountain Swing, a big band group that plays all of the classics. Red Hat Band Bar member Ken Anderson plays the drums for the Red Hat Band, a classic rock trio dedicated to good music and great times. Lost Soul Tish Berard leads Lost Soul, an R&B and Dance band guaranteed to make you move. |
