Divorce Boot Camp Is Back!
 NHBA President Marilyn McNamara shows the New Hampshire pro se divorce forms at the 2008 Divorce Boot Camp. | The NHBA Pro Bono Referral Program’s Divorce Boot Camp training will take place on Nov. 15 at the Bar Center, featuring faculty Cathy Shanelaris, of Shanelaris & Schirch in Nashua, and Pam Peterson, of Devine Millimet in Manchester.
Learn about the Pro Bono Program, how to deal with common pro bono issues and the benefits that come with service. The faculty will address topical issues all family law attorneys need to know, including: dealing with pro se litigants and the basics of unbundled representation. Rule 6.1 Fulfillment
Rule 6.1 of the NH Rules of Professional Conduct encourage lawyers to "discharge the duty to render public interest legal service by, among other means, providing professional services at no fee or a reduced fee to persons of limited means." Taking a Pro Bono case is a great way to do that and to feel good about giving back to the community.

*$99 price requires that registrants attend both the Basic Family Law CLE on Nov. 3, and the Divorce Boot Camp on Nov. 15, and that they agree to take ONE pro bono case on or before Nov. 15.
