Leadership Academy Class Selected
The NHBA Leadership Academy, a nine-month leadership-training program, attracted a strong field of applicants in its inaugural year. Listed below are the applicants chosen for the 2011 class.
"The interest shown in the application process is a good sign for the future, and the diverse group of "charter" Academy participants is an inspiration," said NHBA Executive Director Jeannine McCoy. "The Bar members who have worked to first determine if, and how, to do a Leadership Academy in NH, and then to develop the program, are themselves examples of how leaders in the legal profession give back to their community."
"We are looking forward to an exciting program in the year ahead," she added. "It is my hope that those who could not be selected this year will remain interested and involved in the Association, and will consider applying to a future Academy."
A two-day retreat at the Inns at Mills Falls at Bay Point in Meredith on Nov. 5-6 will feature sessions led by Michael Brandwein, a lawyer, national speaker and educator on organizational effectiveness and leadership, and will follow with monthly programs on a variety of topics.
The roster for the NHBA Leadership Academy Class of 2011 will be released soon.
