Bar Foundation News: Karen McGinley Elected to IOLTA Grants Committee
Karen McGinley |
Karen McGinley, who has extensive experience in real estate matters and is a shareholder at the Devine, Millimet & Branch law firm in Manchester, is the newest member of the IOLTA Grants Committee.
An example of McGinley’s innovative approach to real estate development is her co-authoring of the first Traditional Neighborhood Development ordinance. She has also successfully assisted clients in the purchase and redevelopment of "Brownfields" properties and represents lending institutions and healthcare facilities in tax-exempt bond transactions.
In her candidate’s statement, McGinley said she believes that the IOLTA program is a "wonderful way to raise funds so that all NH residents are able to be represented by NH Bar members, no matter their ability to pay."
The IOLTA Grants Committee reviews IOLTA Grant applications and makes recommendations to the Bar Foundation’s Board of Directors. McGinley’s term begins immediately and she will serve for five years.
