Celebrate the Pro Bono Referral Program
The NH Bar Association’s Pro Bono Referral Program appreciates each of the many volunteers who have taken a case, staffed a referral marathon, assisted with case review, offered advice, or mentored a new volunteer during the past year. Your personal commitment is Pro Bono’s strength. Please help us to continue serving the legal needs of low-income individuals and families across the state and volunteer soon.
Here are just some of the programs Pro Bono offers to citizens in need:
- 829: The number of cases referred to volunteers in the last four quarters (1,528 individuals and family members)
- 229: The number of clients provided with Information and Referral Services (511 individuals and family members)
- 833: The number of additional ongoing referred cases during the last four quarters (2,668 individuals and family members)
In order to help keep these programs running, we need your help, please consider staffing a morning or afternoon at the Bar Center calling other Pro Bono attorneys to take a case during our Year-End Referral Marathons scheduled on December 1, December 7, and December 14.
Pro Bono staff will provide you with everything you need to help refer cases. If you’re interested in being a part of this worthy cause, e-mail Carolann Wooding or Chantell Wheeler.
