Midyear Meeting Draws Sellout Crowd
More than 500 Bar members turned out recently for the 2011 Midyear Meeting and Professionalism Day events at the Radisson Hotel/Center of NH in Manchester on Feb. 4. This is the second year in a row that the event ran at full capacity.
- Mark Curriden, Sean Carter enthralled the audience at morning and afternoon CLE programs.
- At lunch, the Bar formally greeted Chief Justice Linda Stewart Dalianis, who recounted her perspective of 30 years on the bench and the "perfect storm" of technology advancements and budget pressures. (Read her remarks.)
- Members recognized the "Greatest Generation," and applauded colleagues who received MYM Awards. (Read about the MYM Award winners.)
- In the evening, Judge Philip Hollman was recognized as a NH Bar Foundation Honorary Fellow, Susan Leahy spoke about civic education, members of the Supreme Court joined Hollman in a song, and John Maher spoke about the Foundation’s role as the philanthropy of the legal profession.
