(Tony) Tarbell, Jr., Nick Brodich. | Two NH law firms have partnered with Warmth from the Millyard, a student-run initiative between the University of New Hampshire at Manchester and the UNH Community Leadership program. The program collects warm clothes (nearly 10,000 articles to date) and distributes them to over 20 organizations across the state.
Tarbell & Brodich of Concord (see photo) collected 15 large bags of coats, hats, sweaters, fleece jackets, and boots for men, women and children, plus the contents of a filled SUV. Donations were delivered to Friends of Forgotten Children in time for the holidays and helped fill the need for warm clothing well after the holidays.
Wiggin & Nourie of Manchester collected and distributed 20-30 winter coats to the Henry Wilson Elementary School in Manchester. Says firm member Erik Barstow. "It was a wonderful opportunity for our firm to assist children in need during the winter season. We look forward to being able to participate in future programs."
