Bar News - May 13, 2011
Morning Mail: Morning Mail: CLE and You
At the heart of our profession is the duty to educate and only then to advocate. We educate our clients and inform our courts. This obligation also includes the education of the members of the Bar Association.
The NH Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Committee – your CLE committee – offers numerous programs, moderated by committee members. Most of us are older practitioners. Our efforts are voluntary, as is the work of the faculty members we recruit for the programs.
It is sometimes difficult to reach beyond the faculty participants who have often answered the call. We do not know all the Bar members.
This is a plea for anyone who has not been involved as a faculty member to come forward and express your interest in volunteering. You do not need to be an expert witness. Teaching is the best learning tool.
Please contact CLE Director Joanne Hinnendael and indicate the area(s) of the law and practice you would like to help us with.
Thanks.
John J. Ryan On behalf of the NHBA•CLE Committee
