In Memoriam - Raymond C. Patryn
In Memoriam

Raymond C. Patryn, a general practitioner with a Bedford law firm for more than 30 years, died May 8, 2002, at the age of 74 after a sudden illness.

Born in Manchester on Sept. 13, 1927, Patryn was the son of Peter and Stefania (Niziankowicz) Patryn. He was a longtime Bedford resident.

Patryn graduated from the University of Michigan and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

Patryn earned his law degree from Boston University Law School in 1956 and was admitted to the NH Bar in January 1957. He maintained a general practice in Bedford for over three decades.

He was a longtime communicant of Saint Hedwig Church.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Dorothy (O’Neil) Patryn of Bedford; three brothers, Frederick Patryn of Palm Harbor, Fla., Alex Patryn of Bedford, and attorney James Patryn of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; a sister, Helen Peyton of California; and several nieces and nephews.

In memory of our colleague Raymond C. Patryn, the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Board of Governors has contributed to the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, 112 Pleasant Street, Concord, NH 03301.
