NH Bar Foundation: Six Join Foundation Board
Three attorneys, a bank president and a philanthropic executive are among the newcomers to the NH Bar Foundation Board of Directors.
NH Bar Foundation Chair Jack B. Middleton announced the appointment of: Jaye L. Rancourt, with Brennan, Caron, Lenehan & Iacopino; Quentin Blaine, a solo practitioner in Plymouth; and Kirk Simoneau, of Nixon, Raiche, Vogelman, Barry, Slawsky & Simoneau. Rancourt is NHBA Vice President, and Blaine is a Governor-at-Large on the NHBA Board of Governors.
Also joining the board is Dianne Mercier, President of New Hampshire operations for People’s United Bank; Ellie J. Cochran, Director of Philanthropy for the NH Charitable Foundation, and Christina W. Abramson, Director of Alumni Relations for the St. Paul’s School. Abramson was the Bar Foundation’s executive director from 1996 to 2003.
Continuing as Foundation officers are Martha Van Oot, vice chair; Wilbur A. Glahn, Treasurer; and Nina C. Gardner, Secretary. Also serving on the board are: Eleanor Wm. Dahar; Douglas P. Hill; Russell F. Hilliard; Peter E. Hutchins; Mary Susan Leahy; Marilyn B. McNamara, Jennifer L. Parent; James J. Tenn, Jr.; Richard Y. Uchida; and Lisa A. Wellman-Ally. Hon. James E. Duggan, Associate Justice of the NH Supreme Court, is the Court’s liaison to the Foundation.
Middleton also announced that Darlene Schmidt-Brandt, Senior VP/Branch Administrator for Centrix Bank, has been named to the IOLTA Enhancement Committee.
