In Memoriam: William J. Knorr
William J. Knorr of Jaffrey passed away recently at the age of 62.
Knorr attended Austing Peay University in Tennessee, University of Buffalo and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography from the University at Albany.
He worked at the Albany Institute of History and Art where he polished his photography skills enough to become a professional photographer. After moving to New Hampshire in 1981, William Knorr graduated from New England School of Law. For many years, he had a private practice but left in 2004 to become a privacy attorney for the NH State Department of Motor Vehicles. He also worked part-time for the NH Department of Education as a special investigator.
William Knorr was an accomplished photographer, writer, traveler and attorney. He is survived by his wife, Maureen J. Ahern, his sister, Marcia F. Knorr and niece, Michelle E. Perretta.
In honor of our colleague William J. Knorr, the NH Bar Association Board of Governors has made a donation to the NH Bar Foundation, 2 Pillsbury Street, Concord, NH 03301.
