Legal Award Season Underway: David Rotman, Fossum Award

David Rotman, Assistant Merrimack County Attorney, has been given the Attorney General’s Task Force of Child Abuse and Neglect 2011 Dr. Roger M. Fossum Award. This award honors people who have made an outstanding commitment to collaborative multidisciplinary efforts to improve services to children affected by abuse and neglect in New Hampshire. Dr. Roger M. Fossum was the state’s first Chief Medical Examiner.

In a statement, Attorney General Michael Delaney noted that Rotman has prosecuted child physical and sexual violence cases since 1996. "His devotion to his cases is remarkable, and his ability to communicate with child victims is impressive," Delaney said.
