Intrepid Pro Bono Golfers Defy Drizzle Raise $17,000
DESPITE CLOUDS AND occasional drizzle, 102 golfers at the 9th annual Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament enjoyed a day on the links at the Lake Sunapee Country Club on June 6.
Pro Bono expects net proceeds from sponsorships, raffles and entrants' fees to earn more than $17,000 for the Pro Bono program's largest fundraiser of the year.
The foursome of attorney Michael Ruedig, Douglas Homan (owner of Lake Sunapee Country Club), Tom Mills and Mark Douglas carded the tournament- low score of 62 in the best-ball, scramble format.
A stroke behind was the Belknap County-based team of Mitchell Jean, Ned Mulligan, Master Michael Garner and Gerard O'Neil, Jr.
Other scores and a complete list of sponsors will appear in the next issue of Bar News.
