Bar Web Site Usage Rising Popular Pages Identified
USERS OF WWW.NHBAR.ORG are tapping into a variety of Bar services delivered online in increasing numbers. For the month of May, 15,190 user sessions or visits were recorded, and more than 75,000 pages were viewed. The average amount of time per session was more than seven and a half minutes.
The number of user sessions is approximately double from a year ago.
Aside from the home page, the most accessed pages were the Bar News Classifieds (more than 900 views in May), and the log-in to the Members Only area, gateway to member benefits and the membership directory. The Practice Guidelines page, which links to the Child Support Guidelines and Ethics Committee opinions and articles, also was a popular page. The Marketplace page, for online CLE registration or program materials (video, audio or publications), and the listing of all of the NHBA CLE materials were also frequently sought by users.
The statistics do not provide a breakdown between member and public users of the site, but the significance of the number of hits for "Question of Law" articles on Family Law, under For the Public, demonstrates the desire for information about family law issues. In addition, among the top referring sites - aside from well-known search engines such as google.com or yahoo.com - were sites devoted to divorce law issues.
Last month, Thursday was the day of the week when the site was most heavily accessed (2,850 sessions or visits), and Saturdays were the days of the lightest use (1,236).
