Terry Shumaker NH Ballot Law Commission Terry Shumaker, of Bernstein Shur, has been named Governor John Lynch’s appointee to the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission for a four-year term.
The Ballot Law Commission decides election disputes and hears appeals from recounts. It comprises five members, two appointed by the speaker of the House of Representatives, two by the senate president and one by the governor. |

Douglas Hatfield Spirit of New Hampshire Award Douglas Hatfield, of Upton and Hatfield, Hillsborough was among many volunteers that were honored at the Spirit of New Hampshire Awards Ceremony. Hatfield is a revered citizen and volunteer. Serving on the Board of Directors of the Hillcat Theatre, as well as its pro bono legal counsel, Douglas performs the theatre’s administrative tasks while promoting its productions. Douglas also volunteers for many other Hillsborough organizations such as the Duncan Hill Family Trust, the Chamber of Commerce, Historical Society, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and countless others. |
