Hon. Lt. Col. John Coughlin
Army Combat Action Badge Hon. Lt. Col John Coughlin of Amherst, was presented with the Army Combat Action Badge during Nashua’s Memorial Day Parade. The badge is awarded to a soldier performing assigned duties in an area where hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay is authorized, who is personally present and actively engages or is engaged by the enemy, and performs satisfactorily in accordance with the rules of engagement. Coughlin was awarded the Army Combat Action Badge for action while serving in Iraq. |
Barry J. Glennon
NH Bureau of Securities Regulation  Barry J. Glennon of Manchester has been named Director of Securities Regulation by Secretary of State William Gardner. He will be replacing Joseph C. Long, who had stepped in as interim director.

James S. Doremus Award  Charles Willing, Jr. of Rath, Young & Pignatelli in Concord received the fifth annual James S. Doremus Award by the Friends Program. The Doremus Award is named after long-time Friends Program Executive Director, Jim Doremus. The recipient is defined as someone that has provided volunteer service to the Friends Program organization over an extended period of time or has provided a valuable contribution to the Friends Program and/or those served by the organization.
