Hon. Lt. Col. John Coughlin Army Combat Action Badge Hon. Lt. Col John Coughlin of Amherst, was presented with the Army Combat Action Badge during Nashua’s Memorial Day Parade. The badge is awarded to a soldier performing assigned duties in an area where hostile fire pay or imminent danger pay is authorized, who is personally present and actively engages or is engaged by the enemy, and performs satisfactorily in accordance with the rules of engagement. Coughlin was awarded the Army Combat Action Badge for action while serving in Iraq. |
