Bar News - October 19, 2012 In Memoriam: Joseph M. Wisniewski, Jr. Joseph M. Wisniewski, Jr., 64, of Auburn passed away suddenly on Sept. 13, 2012. Wisniewski graduated from Bowdoin College and earned his J.D. at Suffolk University Law School. He went on to earn an advanced legal degree in taxation, with honors, from Boston University Law School. He practiced law in Manchester until 2002, when he retired for medical reasons. Wisniewski had a strong sense of community and volunteered his time to a number of organizations over the years. He was repeatedly recognized for his work in pro bono legal services. He leaves behind his wife, Janine Gawryl, his brother, Donald Wisniewski, and his sister, Karin Schlesinger. Gawryl has established a NH Bar Foundation Justice Fund in Wisniewski’s name.
