In Memoriam: Bruce N. Finkle

Bruce N. Finkle passed away suddenly Jan. 3, 2013. He was 64.
Raised in Swampscott, Mass., and Bethlehem, NH, Bruce attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, before going on to Otterbein College for his bachelor’s degree in literature. He began his career as a teacher at Brewster Academy and obtained his master’s degree in education from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He worked as a traveling teacher of special needs students in northern New Hampshire and also worked as an administrator at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Finkle attended Suffolk University Law School for his juris doctorate and is a former president of the Northern Middlesex Bar Association. During his law career, Finkle had the opportunity to present a winning argument before the justices of the New Hampshire Supreme Court. He founded his own law practice in Nashua and endeavored to make difficult legal concepts easily understood and beneficial in the lives of his clients. He was a strong supporter of the US Constitution and individual rights.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Diane, his mother, Mildred, as well as his daughter, Joanna Colls Finkle, and stepson, Joseph Foistner II.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MGH Stem Cell Transplant Discovery Fund.
