Pro Bono Program Thanks Sponsors of Annual Golf Tournament
THE NH BAR Association’s Pro Bono Referral Program would like to thank all of the sponsors and golfers who helped make the ninth annual Quid Pro Bono Golf Tournament such a success.
The event raised more than $17,000 through entry fees and sponsorships; the funds will be used to support Pro Bono recruitment, training and referral activity. Annually, Pro Bono refers between 800 and 900 cases to volunteer attorneys to assist low-income individuals and families with legal services in civil matters, in addition to providing information to hundreds of additional people.
Virginia A. Martin, the NHBA’s associate executive director for legal services, said she was gratified by the turnout of 26 teams for the June 6 event, including a number of players new to the tournament. Martin added that the Pro Bono Program continues to attract strong sponsorship from many sources, as the following list of this year’s sponsors illustrates.
