Morning Mail - Justice Broderick Thanks Well-Wishers
8 16 02 Morning Mail
My wife Patti and I want to thank the members of the bench and Bar and their respective staffs for their extraordinary kindness and thoughtfulness during these past difficult months. We can never adequately express our appreciation for your notes, your cards, your flowers and your many prayers.
I am pleased to report that I am doing very well. I visited the Supreme Court in late July and had the pleasure of spending time with the staff and my colleagues, for whom I have great affection. It was very comforting to be with them and to be able to thank them for their constant concern and encouragement. It will be wonderful to return to work. I look forward to being back on the bench in September, serving the people of New Hampshire.
Again, Patti and I and our entire family will be forever grateful for your exceptional support and compassion, and we ask for your continued prayers.
Justice John T. Broderick, Jr.
