Female Lawyers Say Aloha
Of the 33 states that provided a gender breakdown of their attorney populations, males constitute 71.4 percent and females 28.6 percent of the population. NH's percentage of female attorneys was slightly higher than the US average at 31 percent. Hawaii and Delaware reported the largest percentages of female attorneys (45 and 40 percent respectively) while Utah and Colorado had the lowest percentages (18 and 15 percent).
