Professional Membership Association for Legal Administrators
THE ASSOCIATION OF Legal Administrators' Granite State Chapter (GSALA) is a professional membership association open to all persons with full-time management responsibilities in law firms, law departments and legal service organizations. Its objectives include the exchange of management information particular to legal organizations, and the continuing education of members in a broad range of management proficiencies, from financial to personnel, operations to technology, and strategic planning to business development. The group typically holds one lunch meeting a month.
At a recent meeting, the GSALA elected its officers for the 2002-03 year. Barbara J. Simoneau, assistant director of administration for Nelson, Kinder, Mosseau & Saturley, was named president; Mary Anne Keleghan, an administrator with Cleveland, Waters & Bass, was elected secretary; and Doreen Ravell, an administrator with Sanders & McDermott, will be treasurer.
