Brock Thanks Special Session Volunteer Lawyers
Brock Thanks Special Session Volunteer Lawyers
I WANT TO extend a personal thanks to members of the New Hampshire Bar Association who worked with the court staff in preparation for the Oct. 2, 2002, special session of the Supreme Court held at Dover High School.
Volunteer lawyers met with students prior to the event to brief them on the appellate process and on the legal issues involved in the two cases heard by the court that day. We believe that the participation of lawyers in advance of the event is essential to maximizing the educational benefit of the program and we are grateful to those attorneys who so generously gave of their time.
The lawyers who participated in school briefings were Francis X. Quinn, Jr., David Wolowitz, Lincoln T. Soldati, David W. Ruoff, Thomas M. Closson, Patti Blanchette, Thomas R. Watson, Susannah Colt, Alfred T. Catalfo, III, Richard E. Samdperil and Alan Cronheim.
I also want to thank New Hampshire Bar President Martha Van Oot for her support of the program and for helping us with the question-and-answer session with the student audience.
Sincerely,
Chief Justice David A. Brock
