Community Spirit, Public Service of Attorneys to be Honored
AT THE BAR'S Mid-Year Membership Meeting on Jan. 24, 2003, NHBA President Marty Van Oot will present three awards recognizing the contributions of lawyers to the betterment of their community.

Vickie M. Bunnell Award for Community Service
Instituted in 1998 to honor the memory of Vickie M. Bunnell, a "country Lawyer," and to applaud the community spirit that is a hallmark of our profession, this award is presented to an attorney from a small firm (four or fewer attorneys) who has exhibited dedication and devotion to community by giving of his or her time and talents, legal or otherwise.
Distinguished Service to the Public Award
This award is presented to the nominee who best exhibits service to the public on behalf of the administration of justice.
L. Jonathan Ross Award for Outstanding Commitment to Legal Services for the Poor Award
This award is typically presented to an attorney who has made an outstanding career commitment and contribution to pro bono representation.
