Legal Assistance Founder George Bruno Honored by Gifts to NHLA
GEORGE BRUNO, founder of New Hampshire Legal Assistance, and his wife, Rona Zlokower, recently demonstrated their continuing commitment to legal services in a new and unique way.
This summer, Zlokower organized a 60th birthday party for Bruno, but instead of accepting birthday gifts, the couple asked their friends to instead make contributions to NHLA, in addition to their own contribution. The gifts made to NHLA in Bruno's name totaled $1,000.
NHLA Executive Director John Tobin expressed his gratitude for the contributions and described the effort as "creative and generous."
"It's something we'd love to see others emulate," Tobin said.
