Bar News - March 21, 2003 Morning Mail Award Recipient Thanks Bar The following letter was addressed to NHBA President Marty Van Oot by Marcia Sink, executive director of CASA of New Hampshire. Sink is one of 11 members of the Judicial Selection Commission who received the 2003 Bar President’s Award for Outstanding Service to the Public at the NHBA Midyear Meeting. A long overdue, but nonetheless heartfelt, thanks and deepest appreciation for the Bar Association’s recognition of the work of the Judicial Selection Commission. I know that acknowledging the Commission’s efforts and dedication to the process meant so much to each of us. As a lay person, I was fortunate to have this amazing opportunity. The unbiased, thorough examination of each candidate was tedious at times, but clearly the end result has been extremely gratifying, not only for members of the commission, but most importantly for all of NH’s citizens. Thanks again for this tremendous honor.
