Attorneys Ski for a Cause
NH BAR MEMBERS helped to raise over $20,000 by participating in the 17th annual New England Handicapped Sports Association’s Corporate Ski Challenge on March 8 at Mt. Sunapee Ski Area.
The NEHSA is a non-profit volunteer organization whose goal is to integrate disabled individuals back into society through social and recreational activities, including adaptive ski programs taught by volunteers.
The association’s Corporate Ski Challenge this year honored the late Ted Jordan, a Nashua attorney who was a long-time supporter of NEHSA.
Nearly one-third of the racers in this year’s Corporate Ski Challenge were NH Bar members or sponsored by a NH law firm, according attorney Paul Moore, president of the NEHSA.
The "Jordanaires" from the law firm Jordan, Maynard & Parodi (of which Ted Jordan was a partner) was the fastest team in the Legal Division. The fastest attorney’s time for the day belonged to Richard Brassard of Jordan, Maynard & Parodi. Notable finishes included second place for Abramson, Brown & Dugan, Manchester; third place for Barker & Goldsmith, Nashua; and honorable mentions for the fourth-place district court judges’ team and the Hillsborough County Superior Court team.
