Judicial Branch Releases 2002 Annual Report
THE NEW HAMPSHIRE Judicial Branch has released its 2002 annual report, "Working Together for Justice," which is available on the judicial branch Web site, www.courts.state.nh.us.
The full-color, 12-page report includes a series of short stories about a day at Nashua District Court, as well as caseload summaries and financial data.
Chief Justice David A. Brock, in a letter to the public, the governor and state lawmakers that introduces the report, said the theme of the report summarizes the continuing effort throughout the court system to provide all New Hampshire citizens "a full and fair measure of justice, within the limits of the resources available to us."
The report, produced by the court’s Public Information Office, provides an overview of significant issues in the court system during the past year, including access to justice, court services and facilities, public outreach efforts, court security, and building public trust and confidence in the judicial system.
Below are tables excerpted from the judicial branch report that offer a glance of the workload of various levels of the courts over the past year.
Printed copies of the annual report will be available for review at courthouses throughout New Hampshire, as well as at the State Library, 20 Park Street, Concord, and the New Hampshire Law Library, located in the Supreme Court building at One Noble Drive, Concord.
