Some of the improved features are highlighted below.

1) Session Laws – new addition to the library
In browse:
  • Shows HB (House Bill) # or SB (Senate Bill) # and Chapter #
  • Short narrative description
  • Clicking on the link will take you to full text version.
2) Statutes
  • In browse, range of §§ shown next to chapter title
    • BENEFIT: can help pinpoint exact section to find)
  • In browse, combined link (in italics at top) takes you to a fully set out scroll-able version of the particular division (chapter, article, etc.) with the sections, etc. in sequential order
    • BENEFIT: users don’t have to use “next page” if they want to scroll through many sections
  • Under each individual § you will find currency notation (italics): Current through 2009 Legislative Session.
    • BENEFIT: users can see at a glance the currency of the provision
  • SuperCode column is gone.
    • BENEFIT: Provisions will have all acts affecting them incorporated.
  • Archive link takes you to a fully set out version of the provision as it appeared in the year shown (for NH back through 2003).
    • BENEFIT: oftentimes lawyers need to see the version of the law in effect at the time
  • Beginning in 2010, history lines at the end of each provision contain live links to affecting legislation pinpointed down to section #.
    • BENEFIT: one click to see the affecting Session Laws
  • Sections set out twice: each section is set out on a different page
    • BENEFIT: catchline date will indicate which section is effective when
    • Example: § 5-B:4
3) Cases:
  • Expanded case database (1st Circuit to 1879).
  • Case header is more clear for all information like Party names, Citation, Docket numbers, etc.
  • Cases show both pagination for main citation and parallel citations
  • Footnotes are linked
  • Same search for federal and state cases
