Robert T. Mittelholzer, a 1987 graduate of Franklin Pierce Law School and the new executive secretary of the Judicial Conduct Committee, was born and raised in northern New Jersey. He began his professional life as a social worker and earned a master’s degree from NY University in 1981.

After he and his wife Eileen moved to New Hampshire, Bob worked for six or seven years for Northern NH Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities and began attending Franklin Pierce. In 1987 he joined both the NH and Maine bars and accepted a position with Ouelette, Hallisey, Dibble and Tanguay in Dover.

Mittelholzer became very much involved with the NHBA during this time and at present serves on the Board of Governors. In 1995 he established his own practice and was joined by his friend Steve Dibble in 1998. Says Mittelholzer, "When I was asked to succeed Tony McManus as executive secretary…I was delighted to be offered the opportunity."
