In Memoriam: Elyse (Rapport) Alkalay
Elyse (Rapport) Alkalay, 41, of Nashua died on June 10, 2013, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack with her family by her side.
She was born on November 23, 1971 in Perth Amboy, NJ, daughter of the late Miriam (Shebitz) Rapport. Mrs. Alkalay was a graduate of Boston University Law School and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. She also studied at the University of Haifa in Israel.
Alkalay was the loving wife of Dani Alkalay and the proudest mother of her three children. She worked in the office of the New Hampshire Attorney General. She was a mentor to her colleagues, as well as her family and friends.
Elyse was a participant in the NH Bar's second Leadership Academy, Class of 2012.
She took great pride in her family, friends and work.
In addition to her husband Dani of Nashua, survivors include three children, Razz, Stav, and Nitzann, all of Nashua; two brothers and their families; and numerous cousins.
