Be sure to save Oct. 28 for top-notch CLE programming, the presentation of the Annual Meeting professionalism awards, as well as an official welcome to the 2016-2017 NHBA Board of Governors, including Scott Harris, who will be fulfilling the responsibilities of NH Bar president during his term as president-elect. Newly appointed and retired judges will also be recognized.

The Oct. 28 event also will include an expanded recognition of the honorary members of the Bar – those who in 2016 mark 50 years of the practice of law. Read brief profiles of the 50-year members.

EARLY DEPARTURE FEE: An early departure fee of 1-night room and tax will apply if a Customer attendee checks out prior to the confirmed check-out date.

Guest Parking: The Sheraton Harborside Portsmouth Hotel is pleased to offer a choice of valet parking for guests. The hotel offers a parking rate of $19.00 per night self-parking in a gated parking lot and $24.00 parking rate for valet service. Guests not staying overnight but attnding events are subject to a daily parking rate of $2.00 per day self-parking or $6.00 per day on the group master account, in the gated parking lot. The gated lot is located directly across the street from the main entrance. Based on business demands, the hotel gated lot may reach capacity. Should this happen during the event, the options of metered on-street parking ot the City of Portsmouth's parking garage located downtown are available. Parking rates are subject to change.

Evening Reception

JUST ADDED! Dante J. Scala, an associate professor in political science at the University of New Hampshire and a Carsey Faculty Fellow, will give a short presentation about the 2016 Presidential Election during the Annual Meeting evening reception, which begins at 5 p.m. Scala has studied the changing political demographics of New Hampshire for more than a decade, and his expertise is recognized locally and nationally.
