The New Hampshire Bar Association’s Pro Bono Referral Program has taken its criminal record annulment clinics virtual! These clinics are for those interested in annulling (expunging) old NH criminal records.
After viewing the video, if you would like to have a free one-on-one video consultation with an attorney to discuss your situation, you may do so by completing the application below. To participate in a free consultation, you must be income eligible. You will be asked to fill out a brief application requiring financial information. This needs to be done before NOON, December 29, 2020. If you are eligible, you will be emailed a zoom link along with a scheduled time. The upcoming clinic is scheduled for December 30, 2020. You will be scheduled for a time between 4:30-6:00.
What you will need for a one-on-one consultation with an attorney:
- A Zoom enabled device. If you are participating via cell phone, it is recommended that you enable Zoom prior to your scheduled appointment.
- To get the most out of the clinic, you will need to know what the charges were, the date of conviction (if applicable), the terms of sentencing and sentence completion date. You can obtain your criminal history record at https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/nhsp/jib/crimrecords/index.html .
If you believe you may have items on your driving record, you can request your driving record from the Department of Safety at https://www.nh.gov/safety/divisions/dmv/forms/documents/dsmv505.pdf
