The Pro Bono Referral Program
Pro Bono links low-income people with volunteer attorneys for free legal services in family law, bankruptcy, consumer, criminal record annulment, housing, and income tax disputes, as well as veteran and senior citizen matters. Most individuals must apply through the Legal Advice and Referral Center at (800) 639-5290 or (603) 224-3333. For bankruptcy and/or debt collection, applicants can find general information online at www.nhbar.org, by clicking on "For the Public" and following the link to "Low-Income Bankruptcy."
The Low-Income Taxpayer Project
Qualified individuals facing federal income tax controversies may receive free advice and representation from the Low-Income Taxpayer Project's staff attorney or from one of the project's volunteer tax professionals. Learn more.

FRP helps homeowners of all income levels who are struggling with foreclosure and other mortgage-related problems. The Project provides free telephone advice, referrals to free, reduced-fee or standard-fee attorneys (based on income) and holds free Home Retention Clinics throughout the state. Learn more.

UNH School of Law Civil Practice Clinic
The Civil Practice Clinic assists low-income clients with a variety of issues from consumer protection, collection and foreclosure defense, predatory lending, and auto fraud. Will take cases from Merrimack, Belknap, Sullivan and Hillsborough counties.
