Administering an Estate is a booklet that provides a layperson's guide to serving as an executor of a will.

Because E-filing for Probate Court is being implemented in a staggered fashion, there are currently two versions of the booklet. Please use the information below to determine which booklet you should use, based on the date and the location of your court.

For estate cases filed before Monday, May 23, 2017, please refer to this version of the booklet.

For new estate cases filed in Brentwood, Concord, Dover or Laconia on or after Tuesday, May 23, 2017 and cases filed in all remaining Probate Division locations on or after Wednesday, June 14, 2017, please refer to this version of the booklet, updated with e-filing information.
