Summary: The Graphic Design & Digital Content Coordinator supports the efforts of the MARCOM Department by creating compelling visual content across a variety of print and online media. This position maintains and applies the NHBA’s branding guidelines for a consistent, high-quality look and feel. The coordinator serves as customer service representative / “point person” for our internal and external clients. They also are responsible for drafting and editing written content in conjunction with the Editorial & Marketing Coordinator and maintaining the marketing calendar so that project deadlines are met.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
- Create professional-quality booklets, pamphlets, flyers, ads, digital banners, social media artwork, signage, and other similar pieces
- Work with freelancers and outside vendors
- Photography and video skills are a plus, but not required
- Serve as backup for monthly Bar News layout
Branding:
- Help shape and elevate the NHBA brand, maintaining a clear, consistent, and professional “personality” for members and the public alike
- Help create attractive and easy-to-use guideline documents, such as style guides and brand book
- Works with staff from other departments to ensure that all communications to members and the public are consistent with the NHBA’s branding guidelines
Copywriting and Editing:
- Assist with drafting promotional copy, e-mail blasts and newsletters, and press releases
- Proofread and copyedit materials
Collaboration:
- Schedule/participate in meetings with all NHBA departments to gauge and support their design and marketing needs
- Brainstorm on ideas and plans for marketing initiatives
- work collaboratively with team members, NHBA staff, members, vendors, and others
Scheduling and Time Management:
- Maintain marketing calendar
- Respond promptly and professionally to requests
- Catalog all projects for easy referencing and repurposing
plus, other tasks as may be assigned at the NHBA management team’s discretion.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Essential and Preferred Software Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite – namely InDesign and Photoshop. Other graphic design software knowledge a plus.
Education/Experience:
HS Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred, and two to four years related experience and/or training.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle is required
