A sunny day, a milestone anniversary, and good company gathered for a good cause made the NH Bar Foundation’s Annual Dinner on Sept. 12 a resounding success.

More than 170 people attended the event at the Manchester Country Club, which marked the foundation’s 40th anniversary. Judge Susan Carbon, a national authority on domestic violence issues and a past president of the NH Bar Association, discussed the Bar Foundation’s support of domestic violence prevention initiatives as an example of the foundation’s important work over the years.

The dinner also featured the presentation of the Frank Rowe Kenison award to John Burwell Garvey, of the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and the Robert E. Kirby Award to Rory Parnell, of the Parnell, Michels & McKay law firm in Londonderry, NH.
