David DePuy Honored with Lifetime Award

DePuy receives lifetime award

R. David DePuy (second from right) was the recipient of the Manchester Bar Association Lifetime Achievement Award, presented last month at the Bedford Village Inn. He is pictured with (from left to right) Jack Middleton and James A. Connor, and James J. Tenn, Jr.

At a joint meeting of the Manchester and Nashua bar associations on April 18, 2006, the Manchester Bar Association awarded its Lifetime Achievement Award to Attorney R. David DePuy of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton law firm. The meeting took place at the Bedford Village Inn.

The Nashua Bar Association presented its Ted Jordan Humanitarian Award to attorney Martha O’Neill, of the Nashua law firm of Clancy & O’Neill.

DePuy’s long-time colleague and friend, Jack Middleton, made remarks in recognition of DePuy, and the award was presented by Middleton and David Bailinson, Manchester Bar president.

DePuy was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1971, has served as the President of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, and he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the International Society of Barristers.  He also is active in the United Way and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Public Defender since 1986.

The Nashua Bar’s award, named in honor of the late Ted Jordan, was presented to O’Neill, who was admitted to the NH Bar in 1982.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
