The $1,730,000 in IOLTA Grants awarded just prior to the Annual Dinner included:

Court Appointed Special Advocates, $20,000; Franklin Pierce Civil Practice Clinic, $56,000; International Institute of NH, $20,000; Law School Loan Assistance Program, $96,008; Legal Advice and Referral Center, $60,000; NHBA Reduced-Fee Referral Service, $36,000; NH Legal Assistance, $1,140,000; NH Pro Bono Referral Program, $209,996; NH Pro Bono Referral Program DOVE Project, $23,546; Support Center at Burch House, $5,000; Women’s Supportive Services, $3,450; NHBA Law-Related Education Program, $50,000; NH Supreme Court and NHBA LRE “Guide to the Courts” project, $10,000.

Sponsorships from lawyers, law firms, banks, and individuals helped underwrite the Annual Dinner and allowed the Foundation to offer free or half-price tickets to attorneys working in nonprofit public sector law. IOLTA Leadership Banks, Justice Society donors, Pro Bono and reduced-fee attorneys, and all contributors to the Foundation play a significant role in helping children, youth, seniors, and those of limited means gain access to justice.

The NH Bar Foundation has invested over $20 million of philanthropic funds in New Hampshire since 1977. Bar Foundation grants serve New Hampshire’s most vulnerable populations through support of: direct legal aid and counsel, programs designed to educate the public about the law and the justice system, and innovation in the administration of justice to help provide equal access for all. The Bar Foundation is the single largest financial supporter of civil legal aid in New Hampshire.

For information on the Foundation, visit its Web site at www.nhbarfoundation.org.

Supreme Court Rule 42(9) requires all NH admitted attorneys to notify the Bar Association of any address change, home or office.
